A recent report from The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) revealed that global arms exports in the last five years are up 14 percent on the five years before that.
India was the world's largest arms importer between 2011 and 2015 with a 14 percent share of the market. Saudi Arabia was second and China was third.
This chart shows the top arms exporters and importers from 2011 to 2015.
